Description Eucalyptus dalrympleana, the mountain gum, is a beautiful hardy eucalypt that has been grown successfully in coastal BC for many years. The rounded juvenile foliage is blue-green with reddish highlights especially in the new growth. The mature leaves are long and lance- or sickle-shaped and dangle vertically from the branches. With its silvery trunk and pendulous leaves, this fast-growing tree makes for a striking specimen. The foliage is aromatic with a hint a cinnamon. Drought tolerant once established.
