Description Cuphea ‘Vermillionaire’ is a fascinating, low-mounding, easy-care, tender, evergreen perennial of up to 28 inches high by 24 inches wide. It blooms and re-blooms from late spring to fall with loads of long, tubular flowers in hot-orange with yellow tips resembling fire crackers. They are a magnet for hummingbirds and other pollinators! Loves heat and sun. Dead heading is not necessary. Mulch over winter in colder climates, otherwise, treat as an annual or bring inside as a houseplant for winter. Excellent in the border, containers and for mass planting.
