Availability:

$ 17.10

Description Delphinium glaucum is a tall, cold hardy western North American species known as Sierra or tower larkspur. The tall spires can reach from 3-8 feet high, depending on the conditions, with innumerable royal purple, purplish-blue, or lavender flowers. The foliage has distinct sharp-toothed lobes and is generally found only at the base of the plant. Tolerates full sun but prefers partial sun to shade and evenly moist to wet soil that is well drained. Fabulous for dramatic impact in the cottage and native plant garden, and for architectural height in the mid to back of the shady border. Attracts, hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Very deer resistant. Photo credit: Wikipedia.
