Description Dahlia ‘Pinkburst’ is an amazing powder-puff or anemone style dahlia with an outer ring of bright pink petals surrounding a prominent darker pink centre that fades to yellow for a unique colourfula and textural display. The large flowers are 4-5 inches across and displayed on stems up to 18 inches high. Blooms from summer to frost. Belonging to the Venti series of dahlia bred for vigour, bold colours and bicolours, large, consistent double blooms, a more controlled compact habit, and powdery mildew resistance. Awesome in the border, in containers, and as cut flowers. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Cultivar name: ‘Baldadenrosa’.
