Canna Cannova ‘Gold Leopard’ – Canna Lily – Cannaceae (The Canna Family)

Availability:

$ 12.66

Description Canna Cannova ‘Gold Leopard’ offers luscious, tropical-like foliage crowned with eye-catching bright yellow flowers with speckled burnt orange spots – just like the leopard’s coat. The stems are strong and sturdy reaching up to four feet tall. The Cannova Series are vigorous, early-blooming, seed-grown, F1 hybrids. Since the all too common Canna virus cannot be transferred through seeds, these plants are virus-free. They are also bred to require less heat and grow well in cooler summers and northern climates. Hardy in coastal BC if protected from winter wet or grow in a pot and kept above freezing. Provide rich soils, good fertilizer, and lots of water in full sun. Cannas are incredibly versatile, use in the container as the ‘thrill’, in the border, pollinator or tropical garden. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
