Description Anaphalis triplinervis, the triple-veined pearly everlasting, has crisp papery white flowers useful for dried flower arrangements. It blooms in the garden over a long period in summer and fall and can be used in borders, dry gardens, and native plantings, and as a ground cover. The silvery foliage with three prominent parallel vines is very attractive. Plants will spread rhizomatously but at a slow rate. Popular with butterflies for nectar and as a larval host for the caterpillars of some butterfly species. Plants have some drought tolerance but leaves can senesce with prolonged dry periods. Best to grow in well-drained soils with even moisture.
