Availability:

$ 8.86

Description Alsobia dianthiflora, commonly known as lace flower or chocolate soldier, is a tender, semi-succulent, trailing plant with cute rounded leaves and unusual, relatively large, five-lobed, trumpet-shaped, white flowers 1 inch across with deeply fringed margins. The foliage is bright green, furry and forms a dense mat beneath the flower stalks due to its numerous stolons. Prefers bright light and moisture-retentive but well-drained potting mix similar to African violets. Generally easy to care for as a houseplant. It also enjoys a nice outdoor patio through the summer. Use in hanging baskets, cute pots, or planted at the base of larger houseplants. Used to be in the genus Episcia. Photo credit Wikipedia.
