Description Agapanthus ‘Galaxy White’ has large, rounded umbels to five inches across of white, trumpet-shaped blossoms on strong, tall stems to 3-4 feet high. Flowering will last all summer long into fall. Thrives in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. The Galaxy Series are large, vigorous lily-of-the-Nile that have proven hardy in zone 6 Michigan with good snow cover for many years. Awesome in the perennial border, cutting garden, grown in swaths, and in containers (where many gardeners find Agapanthus easier to bloom). Mulch each winter with fallen leaves or protect above freezing in its pot. Hummingbird and bee attractor. Deer resistant.
