Dianthus arenarius f. nanus ‘Little Maiden’ – Sand Pink – Caryophyllaceae (The Pink Family)

Availability:

$ 7.60

Description Dianthus arenarius f. nanus ‘Little Maiden’ delights with masses of deliciously fragrant, star-burst like flowers all summer long. This super hardy sand pink has thin, grass-like, blue-green foliage in a low-growing, cushion-forming, compact mound or mat. Wonderful fringed, single flowers are pure white with lightly freckled pink centres on short stems. The effect of flower above foliage creates a fabulous contrast. Use in the cottage, rock or alpine garden, at the front of borders, along pathways, in containers, and as cut flowers. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant. Photo: Wikimedia.
