Agastache ‘Honeysticks Ember’ – Hummingbird Mint – Lamiaceae (The Mint Family)

Availability:

$ 12.66

Description Agastache ‘Honeysticks Ember’ is a stunning hummingbird mint with unusual honey-orange flowers emerging from darker orange-red calyces on vertical stems up to 14 inches tall providing a shorter vertical accent than the larger varieties. Very easy to grow with long-lasting flower power in the sunny garden. Even after the flowers have finished, the calyces remain attractive. Deadhead or chop in half in mid to late summer for repeat bloom. The foliage has an aromatic, herbal scent with a tidy clumping form. Both flowers and foliage are edible. Grow in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, rocky soils for best overwintering. Awesome in the pollinator, rock and xeriscape gardens at the front to mid border or in containers. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
