The trademark square shape is elevated by utilizing special, premium metal materials and artisan craftsmanship that the MR-G series represents.The new MRGB5000 model features an intricately shaped bezel made up of 25 parts that have been individually polished with Sallaz polishing, which gives the watch a stunning, elegant finish.A new shock-resistant multi-guard structure increases strength by using stainless steel leaf springs and silicon between bezel parts. The case and bezel are made of high-hardness Ti64 titanium alloy, and the band is made of DAT55G titanium alloy, which is approximately three times harder than pure titanium and provides excellent workability. The top of the bezel is made using the cobalt alloy COBARION®, which is approximately four times harder than pure titanium and has the same brilliance as platinum. The MRGB5000B-1 model enhances the mirror finish of the COBARION® material by adding a glossy finish with black DLC (diamond-like carbon), which is meant to resemble the original black DW5000C.
